Subject: tax reform Comment: I just wanted to give my opinion on tax reform. If everyone would take the time to read the book "The Fair Tax Book" by congressman John Linder and Neal Boortz there would be no question as to what reform should take place. Make it simple, just replace all income taxes, both individual and corporate, the death tax, the self-employment tax, the alternative minimum tax, the gift tax, capital gains taxes, Social Security tax and the Medicare tax with a federal sales tax. Unless you are a lobbyist, a tax accountant, a tax attorney, or work for the IRS the only reason for opposing this bill is ignorance. Thank you! Steve Keller |
