Subject: Fair Tax Comment: I'm a supporter of the National Sales Tax proposal and the complete abolishment of our tax system as we now know it... Hopefully, there will be quite a bit of open debate about the different proposals to completely overhaul our tax system... My concern is simple... Politically, do we have a chance of real tax reform which completely scraps our present tax system... Or can we only expect minor adjustments to the present tax system from our president and the Congress... We have a fantastic opportunity to completely overhaul the tax system which it needs badly... Completely abolishing the old income tax system flawed with individual exemptions and loop holes... Any of our government officials who are not willing to be open minded in making a complete overhaul of our present system does not belong in office... Hopefully, we won't miss this great opportunity... |
