Subject: The best proposal is the Fairtax

Comment: Out of all the proposals and evaluation of the current income tax system, it is clear to this CPA that the Fairtax proposal is far superior tax system.

The Fairtax is the only system that meets the Presidents goals of a system that is pro-growth, easy to understand and fair to all and maintains a preferrence to home ownership and charitable contributions.

PRO-Growth--
The current income tax system fails in this category. The flat tax still taxes production and achievement the catalyst of growth. Value added tax still impedes business with enormous compliance cost and hids the taxes into the cost of products that the consumer has to ultimately pay. The Fairtax eliminates taxes on business, investment and production. Without the tax burden on our capitalist system, the growth in our economy would be substancial.

EASY to UNDERSTAND
The current system is broken beyond repair. There is nothing easy about this monster. The flat tax will still have to define income and allowable expenses for business and individuals. The VAT cause each step of the process to determine added value and allows for claims of credit. That is to complicated already. The Fairtax is collected at the time of final consumption of a new good or service. The tax will be shown on the consumer receipts. This is by far the easiest tax to understand. You buy something for $100 and add tax $23 to fund the federal government. No hidden charges, no credit or exceptions, very visable to understand.

FAIR to ALL
The current system is not fair to all. To many loopholes and exceptions. The Flat Tax is not fair to all because only producers in society pay the tax. The VAT is a hidden tax so how can it be fair.
The Fairtax with gives a Prebate each month to a family so that NO ONE pays tax up to the poverty level. No other plan comes close to being this fair. The Fairtax is one rate for all no exceptions. That is also super fair.

I have done the research and analysis. The Fairtax is the best tax system for the free society of the United States government.

The president did not ask you to consider the following:
1. To base your evaluation on which system would be the easiest to past into law.
2. To determine the rate structure of the new tax system.
Therefore, I ask that your evaluation does not give any merit to these two items.

To be honest and fair in your duty to the American people, I hope that you base your recommendation on tax reform system that is the best in all three categories of pro-growth, easy to understand and fair to all.

I am sure you will come to the same conclusion that the Fairtax is the far superior tax system.

Thank you and may history remember the great change in our society that you bring forth.
