Subject: Fair Tax

Comment: I can think of no issue in recent history more important than passing the Fair Tax. The simplicity, the fairness, the incentives to save (and thus increased provision of capital and a boon to business start ups and growth and therefore wealth creation and increased employment) are reason enough. Making American goods more competative in the global market and the fact that no one would pay taxes on basic necessities are additional benefits. Simplifying the tax code, reducing the burdensome regulation and possibly eliminating the IRS and the entire lobbying class that has grown up around manipulating a complex, confusing, and cumbersome tax code would be nothing short of a miracle for this country. For once, do something that is actually good for the economy and the people of this country rather than something that simply furthers the goals of the political class. The Fair Tax is fair and would be the best possible thing to happen to our economy.
