Subject: Taxing health benefits

Comment: I find this idea very disconcerting. The cost of health care coverage is rising at a rate of 10 to 15% each year, which translates to higher contributions for coverage. Now you want to tax the very benefits that we are paying high premiums for? That would double the cost of the increases. Just because employers are providing benefits doesn't mean that this coverage is free.

Please keep your hands out of our pockets. Veto this whole idea of taxing the benefits we pay for.
