I'd like to see the following concepts to be included in a national tax
system:

1) A Flat Tax with a threshold income level (allows the politicians some
playing room) and NO deductions (and that includes deductions for home
ownership! I am a homeowner)

2) Elimination of Double Taxation on Dividends by allowing corporations to
deduct dividend payments ... individual would be taxed on dividends.

3) Index Capital Gains and pay at the Flat Tax Rate - you should be taxed on
purchasing power, not inflation gains.

4) Treat ALL individual income as the same ... earned, investment,
inherited, won, interest, etc., etc., etc., all with NO offsets, NO
deductions

Other than the threshold, no social engineering through the tax system.

Second comment: My concern with a national sales tax is the double taxation
on current savings.
