Subject: Tax reform Comment: I'm sitting here in California reading the article about your proposed tax reform to assist the "middle class" citizen. What are you thinking? Many of us are struggling to own a home and to maintain health insurance. Lowering the write off for mortage interest to $350,000....Californians can't even buy a garage for that amount!! Taxing health insurance premiums????? Little business,such as public school districts are struggling to provide their employees and retirees with insurance now. If they have to pay more taxes, or the employee has to pay the taxes, who is going to benefit....LOSE!! Please move to California and experience the difficulties before coming up with such ridiculous ideas!! You're not helping the middle class, you're attempting to make it WORSE!! |
