Subject: The Fair Tax By John Linder Comment: This Tax Advisory Panel has misconstrued the facts on the Fair Tax (National Retail Sales Tax). The Fair Tax would eliminate the IRS, and the need to spend countless hours recordkeeping and preparing tax returns. The current tax code is an abomination and must be ripped out by its roots. I am sic of having to provide information to the government on things I don't like to tell my family. I want The Fair Tax as Written By Congeressman Jiohn Linder and Won't settle for anything less, particularly simply raising taxes on the weathy again. Your panel was given a charge to simplify the tax code not to grow it. Your suggestions are mindless and I believe are more influenced by K- street than a desire to simplify. Mindless!
