Subject: Mortgage Deduction Comment: I firmly believe doing away with the mortgage interest deduction when greatly affect home buyers--maybe more than we know. Not only would it slow purchases down, if someone wants to take out a mortage to re-model their home, that market would be greatly reduced also. Do "fool" around with that deduction strikes at the core of the largest possession of most people as well as the pride of home ownership. |
