Subject: Tax Code Comment: In 1992, David Brinkley on "This Week" quoted the following from the 800 page Tax Bill coming out of the Senate Finance Committee,"Subparagraph B in section 1 G7 relating to income included on parents' return is amended (1) by striking $1000 in clause i and inserting twice the amount described in paragraph 4 A ii I and (2) by amending the subclause II of clause ii to read as follows... And so on." Brinkley went on to say garbage like this in a tax law no one can understand is best found in a sanitary land fill, and asked why do we have to put up with stuff like this.
