Subject: Meaningful Tax Reform Comment: It would seem that our nation would not wish to penalize wage-earning, saving, and investment. Why, then, do we persist in strangling the American people with a Tax Code which is incomprehensible, unwieldy, overly complex, and punitive? Why do we not kill the income tax, substituting a consumption tax, thereby snaring the undergound economy and freeing us of a tax system which serves as a noose around our necks? |
