Subject: Fair Tax Reform Comment: The current tax system has grown beyond being useful or fair. I would like to see either a federal sales tax or flat tax, as well as repeal the present federal income tax laws. Flat tax will make it easier for the general public to file. The federal sales tax is a consumption tax so those that spend the most will pay the most. Federal sales tax would also bring a lot of underground revenue to the surface, since the drug dealers buying those expensive cars, etc would have to pay sales tax on their purchases. |
