Subject: Plans To Cut Mortgage Interest Rate Deduction Comment: If this goes in effect, this could possibly be the worst decision the government has made regarding taxes ever. A major reason people buy a home is for the tax advantage. If people choose to rent over buy, think of all the other businesses that will also see decreased profits (which means less sales tax collected), ie home improvement stores, decorating companies, real estate firms & all their support (title companies, banks, lawyers, etc). This would be a huge mistake, please do not make it. |
