Subject: Tax law changes Comment: I would like to know if the Panel is considering the Fair Tax as it is presented in H.R.25. It seems to be the best method for reaching the goals of creating jobs, increasing consumer spending and in general improving the voting public's opinion of our elected officials. If this is not being considered in it's original form, I hope that it is not because of ridiculous political wrangling, but for actual concerns that can not be answered. Now is the time to make a real contribution to the future of this country and adding tax liability to people who work hard to become successful is not a valid means to improve the lives of anyone. |
