Subject: DO YOUR JOB! Comment: First, I am VERY disappointed this panel does not include any small business owners, or average middle of the road taxpayers. Instead we're stuck with a bunch of ivory tower type folks. Not good. You don't represent me nor speak for me. Second, you job, as I understand it, was to come up with ways of simplifying the tax code. Instead, you've come up with ideas that will increase taxes and make the code even more uncomprehendable than it is now. YOU HAVE NOT DONE YOUR JOB. Third, you apparently have totally blown off the Fair Tax. This is a mistake. And you probably could have gotten away with this in the past. But no more. The American people are slow to anger and slow to act. But with the internet, blogs, talk radio, etc., the days of being able to ignore us are over. You had best pay attention to these comments. I and a lot of other taxpayers have taken a vow to vote only for candidates that fully back the Fair Tax. |
