Subject: National Retail Sales Tax / FairTax

Comment: Thank you for the opportunity to provide input regarding the issue of tax reform proposals.

I would like to strongly urge the committee to recommend that a national retail sales tax be used to totally replace the current system. Especially as it is proposed in HR 25, aka, the FairTax.

This would be eminently fair and doable. It is a major shift in the paradigm just as the current system was when it was proposed in the early 20th century. However, if the average American taxpayer is to survive the system, there must be fundamental and global change made.

Please recommend the FairTax, HR 25, as a way to save the system.
