Subject: Mortgage Deduction Comment: The first thing to do to save some tax dollars is to eliminate the mortgage deduction for second homes. If there ever was a tax deduction for the rich and the politicians, it is their ability to deduct interest paid on their vacation and other "second" homes. When millions of people can not afford to buy their own home, it is a slap in their face to allow a tax break for those owning two homes! |
