Subject: Tax Reform Comment: I would like to express my support of the FairTax (HR25/S25). I am in favor of transparency, less complexity, fairness, anonymity and freedom to choose in our tax code. I think this bill has been well researched and addresses these issues. As far as home mortgage interest deductions are concerned, why not make the whole mortgage tax free, not just the interest. With federal taxes not deducted from our paychecks and mortgage payments tax free, the American Dream will be more easily attained by a great many more Americans. |
