Subject: Fair Tax Comment: I strongly believe that the Fair Tax, as I have read about it in the book The FairTax, would be a very good change for the United States. It would go along way toward creating more jobs because companies that have moved overseas, because of the high taxes, would move back. Not only tha, but foreign countries would invest more in America, because taxes here would then be less than overseas. As is now illegals don't pay federal income tax, gamblers don't pay federal income tax, and people who can afford to get an accountant to cheat on their taxes!Everyone will pay the FairTax, because everyone is a consumer, when they purchase those items and services, they will pay the Fair Tax: it is included in the price of the item that they buy! |
