Subject: make it simpler Comment: Please make the tax system simpler!! I would gladly pay more tax if I could avoid the hassle of our complicated tax system. Even with Turbo Tax, etc the process is too cumbersome. Yes, that means less deductions and tax breaks. A sales or value added tax has a nice appeal if low income people could somehow be treated fairly. The higher income groups and the underground economy would all pay their share as consumers. |
