Subject: Income tax reform Comment: I would like to see the total overhaul of our tax system, rescind the IRS code and save the federal budget millions of dollars by eliminating most IRS positions by establishing a FLAT TAX for US income tax, NOT a national sales tax. The national sales tax would hurt those who are least able to pay it. Establish the flat tax and also a lowincome threshhold for the poverty level--NOT the federal poverty level which is ridiculously high, but somewhere around $10,000--that is REAL poverty. Thank you. |
