Washington, D.C. - Presidential Advisory Commission on Holocaust Assets in the United States Chair Edgar M. Bronfman and Executive Director Kenneth L. Klothen head a list released today of witnesses to testify before a field hearing of the Nazi War Criminal Records Interagency Working Group (IWG). Stuart E. Eizenstat, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury and member of the Presidential Commission will also testify. The hearing -- which will take place from 10 AM to 5 PM on September 27, 1999 at the U. S. District Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street in Manhattan, New York City -- will detail the work of Federal agencies and the IWG to locate, identify, inventory, recommend for declassification, and make available to the public all classified records relating to Nazi war criminals, Nazi war crimes, Axis persecution, and Axis looting.
