TO HOLD RESEARCH SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING


WHAT: Meeting of the NGISC Research Subcommittee

STATUS: The meeting will be open to the public, however due to limited seating individuals planning to attend the meeting are asked to contact Commission Research Director Doug Seay to ensure necessary meeting space. Mr. Seay can be reached at (202) 523-8217.
AGENDA: The members of the Research Subcommittee will discuss issues related to its research agenda, including the Community Database being compiled by NORC; a proposed questionnaire being sent Native American casinos; possible follow-up work by Dr. Adam rose in the area of surveying regional economic literature; possible areas of research relating to credit; and ACIR's work regarding Indian tribal laws and regulations.

The advisory of October 19 regarding the Research Subcommittee meeting in Chicago indicated that the agenda would include the casino questionnaire. This is incorrect; the subject of the casino questionnaire is not on the agenda.
