RETREAT AGENDA RELEASED FOR
NATIONAL GAMBLING IMPACT STUDY COMMISSION


WHO: The National Gambling Impact Study Commission
   
WHAT: Agenda for the National Gambling Impact Study Commission. Commissioners will meet to receive recommendations from various organizations for possible inclusion into the Commission's Final Report. The Final Report is due to the President, Congress, state governors, and tribal leaders by June 20, 1999.
   
WHEN: Monday, February 8, 1999; 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, February 9, 1999; 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, February 10, 1999; 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
   
  • The Indian Gambling Subcommittee will meet Sunday, February 7,
         at 3:30 p.m.
  • The Report Subcommittee will meet Sunday, February 7, from
         5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • The Regulation, Enforcement, and Internet Subcommittee will meet
         on Tuesday, February 9, from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
  •    
    WHERE:   Meetings will be conducted in the Law and Government Building at Regent University located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
