NATIONAL GAMBLING IMPACT STUDY COMMISSION

SWEARING-IN

CHAIRPERSON JAMES:

I'd like to now call on Mr. Snowden, who will conduct the swearing in of the Commissioners.

MR. SNOWDEN: Thank you, Madam Chair.

It certainly is a pleasure to have this opportunity to swear you into the most honorable service -- that is, the service to the people of the United States. I'd ask you to stand, please, and ask you to raise your right hand and repeat after me.

(Whereupon, an oath was administered to the Commissioners.)

Welcome into the federal service.

CHAIRPERSON JAMES: Thank you.

Congratulations, gentlemen.

I should note for those who are wondering, I took my oath very early on in order to be able to conduct the business of the Commission and to sign the official papers that needed to be signed. And so we have taken care of that.
