CHAIRPERSON JAMES: Our next panel will focus on the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and Allison Flatt, our associate director of research introduced this subject to us in our briefing yesterday. And joining us today for our discussion are Michael Anderson, and Michael Anderson is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs at the U.S. Department of Interior; Mr. Tom Gede, Mr. Gede, Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of California; Mr. Jacob Coin, Executive Director of the National Indian Gaming Association and Mr. Raymond Scheppach, Executive Director of the National Governors' Association.
