The purpose of these files in this directory is to provide Win95
Network Adapter Driver information.


****** Windows 95 Network Adapter Drivers ******

     The network adapter in your computer is an AMD 79c970.  We have 
provided 3 key files just in case either becomes corrupted.  If this 
is the case then you can put correct copies back as follows:

1. Copy C:\Hitachi.pc\Drivers\NetAdapter\pcntnd.dos to C:\Windows.
2. Copy C:\Hitachi.pc\Drivers\NetAdapter\netamd.inf to
   C:\Windows\INF.
3. Copy C:\Hitachi.pc\Drivers\NetAdapter\pcntn3.vxd to 
   C:\Windows\System.
4. Restart the system.


If you are starting from scratch you can reinstall the entire
Net Adapter driver set as follows:

1. Control Panel, Device Manager, Network Adapters
2. AMD PCNet Family Adapter, Properties, Driver
3. Click on Update Driver, No, Next, Have Disk
4. Have the browser point to C:\Hitachi.PC\Drivers\NetAdapter (or you
   can copy those files to Drive A and have the browser point to A)
5. OK and the 3 files will load
6. Then you'll be asked for more files so have the browser point
   to C:\Windows\Options\Cabs and OK and the rest of the files will
   be loaded.
7. Close Driver Tab, close Properties.
8. Shut down and then restart the system and the net drivers will
   take effect.
