Interim Governorate COUNCIL OF Al Anbar Has second meeting

Ar Ramadi, Al Anbar.  The new Interim Governorate Council of Al Anbar met today for the second time, which is an important milestone on the road to full democracy.

The Interim Governorate Council, which represents all seven districts in Al Anbar, will continue working to elect a chairman in the next several weeks.  It will also plan to improve security, employment, water, electricity, and other important issues in the Al Anbar Province.

The Interim Governorate Council will help people in the Al Anbar Province move forward toward self-government, and it represents another step in bringing the government back to the Iraqi people.
