Directions to the Parking Garage on 7th Street. Permits are purchased through a machine at the garage, you must have exact change.

From the San Jose International Airport
Take the Guadalupe Parkway South, which turns into Highway 87. Take the 280 South exit. From 280 take the 7th Street exit. Turn left at the light from the off ramp. Follow 7th Street to the 7th Street garage. Cost: $2.00

From Highway 85
From highway 85 take 17 North. Transfer to 280 South and take the 7th street exit. Turn Left at the 7th Street light and continue for about 5 blocks to the 7th Street garage. Cost: $2.00

From Highway 87
From Highway 87 take 280 South and take the 7th Street exit. Stay on the left side. Turn left at the 7th Street light and continue for about 5 blocks to the 7th street garage. Cost: $2.00

From Fremont/Sacramento/Walnut Creek/Pleasanton: 680 Southbound
680 becomes 280 at 101. Follow 280, then take the 7th street exit. Turn right at the off ramp and follow 7th street to San Salvador and the 7th street garage. Cost: $2.00

From Morgan Hill/Salinas/Monterey/Gilrot:101 Northbound
From 101 take 280 North. Follow 280 for about one mile, then take the 7th street exit. Turn right at the off ramp and follow 7th street to San Salvador and the 7th street garage. Cost: $2.00

From Oakland/Hayward/Newark: 880 Southbound
Take 880 South and transfer to 280 South to downtown San Jose. Take the 7th Street exit. Turn left at the light from the off ramp onto 7th Street. Follow 7th Street to San Salvador and the 7th Street garage. Cost: $2.00

From Santa Cruz/ Aptos/Scotts Valley: 880(17)Northbound
Exit17 (880) at 280 South to Downtown San Jose. Follow 280 for about 5 miles, then take the 7th Street exit. Turn left at the light from the off ramp. Follow 7th Street to San Salvador and the 7th Street garage. Cost: $2.00

From San Francisco: 101 Southbound
Exit 101 south and transfer to 280 North in San Jose. Take the 7th Street exit. Turn left at the light from the off ramp onto 7th Street. Follow 7th Street to San Salvador and the 7th Street garage. Cost: $2.00

From San Francisco: 280 Southbound
Exit 280 at 7th Street. Turn left at the light from the off ramp. Follow 7th Street to San Salvador and the 7th Street garage. Cost: $2.00

San Jose State University is bordered by San Fernando and San Salvador streets to the north and south and 4th and 10th streets to the west and east. The Student Union Building is located on One Washington Square. This is in the northeast quadrant of the campus. Please see the San Jose State University Campus Map.

Walking from the 7th Street Garage to the Student Union Building:

Out of garage turn left, go _ block onto campus. 7th Street is lined with palm trees, continue straight on 7th Street. You will pass the Event Center and then Concert Hall/Music Bldg (on your right). Immediately after the Music Hall is a fountain, turn right a the fountain. Pass the Market Cafˇ on your left side. The Student Union is the next building on your left side. It is a 2 story brick and cement building. There will be signs directing you to the hearing room.

If you are staying at the Hyatt or Hilton it is a 10-15 minute walk.

Walking from the Hyatt Saint Claire:
Take a right on San Carlos Street, go 4 blocks to 4th Street. The Main University Gate is at 4th and San Carlos Street. Continue on San Carlos Street one block to 7th Street. Turn Left onto 7th Street. 7th Street is lined with palm trees, continue straight on 7th Street. You will pass the Event Center and then Concert Hall/Music Bldg (on your right). Immediately after the Music Hall is a fountain, turn right a the fountain. Pass the Market Cafˇ on your left side. The Student Union is the next building on your left side. It is a 2 story brick and cement building. There will be signs directing you to the hearing room.

Walking from the San Jose Hilton & Towers:
Take a right on San Carlos Street, go one (long) block to Hyatt (corner of Market and San Carlos). Continue straight on San Carlos Street following the directions printed above.
