The ongoing efforts to collect the debris from the breakup upon reentry of the Space Shuttle Columbia.

The identification and reconstructive layout of the debris in order to facilitate testing and analysis.

Ongoing and proposed testing and analysis of the debris in order to establish the cause(s) of the loss of the Columbia and her crew.
