Subject: Advisory Committee Nomination

I respectfully request consideration to be a member of the FTC's Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security. I have spoken at numerous Internet conferences, and serve as General Counsel of a new Internet privacy organization, "Protecting Our Children Online" (POCO). POCO has been established to help educate parents and children in using the Web. A copy of my bio is attached here.

I head the CyberLaw practice in Sidley & Austin's D.C. office, and have testified recently before Congress regarding the pending anti-Spam legislation. A copy of my testimony, together with a number of other recent articles, is attached below.
