OUR MISSION:

Bellerophon, Ltd. is a world class provider of Information Technology (IT) Services which assists organizations in architectural and engineering activities relating to the analysis, design, development, certification and operation of business information systems. Bellerophon, Ltd.centers its activities on electronic commerce and related issues.

WHO WE ARE:

We are a small, women-owned company specializing in satisfying our customers' information technology needs through the integration of commercial products and leading edge technology.

OUR BACKGROUND:

We are a small company of former federal government employees who conceived, designed, built, and supported the entire federal government's Electronic Commerce Infrastructure. We are building a business by providing strategy, consulting, system design, software development, system integration and outsourced services in Electronic Commerce.

OUR MOTIVATION:

We saw that there was no proponent for the small and medium sized business when it came to conducting Electronic Commerce (EC). Neither was there a proponent for firms where Information Technology was not a strong core competency of their business. Large firms conducted EC using very expensive and proprietary electronic data interchange systems that were far beyond the ability of small business due to their complexity and inherent high costs. We started Bellerophon, Ltd. with the intent of helping all business have an equal opportunity to compete using the appropriate information technologies as they apply to EC and the needs and desires of the business community.

OUR GENESIS:

Incorporated in April 1998.

OUR NAME:

In Greek mythology, Bellerophon was a Corinthian warrior and prince of the royal house. Among his many adventures, his most well known is when he was tasked with killing the Chimera, a creature wreaking havoc on the surrounding countryside. Bellerophon, with the help of the winged horse Pegasus, lopped off the creature's head as Bellerophon flew by on Pegasus' back. Above all else Bellerophon is noted for his Truthfulness and keeping a clear perspective on Reality; both of which typify Bellerophon, Ltd.'s dealings with its customers.
