RE: Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security -- Nomination, P004807

Dear Mr. Secretary:

I am nominating Gwenn Kyzer, Experian's Vice President of Privacy & Compliance, to serve on the Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security. She is prepared to attend all meetings and may be contacted at the above address.

Ms. Kyzer has 20 years experience in the information services industry. She chairs the Ethics Policy Committee of the Direct Marketing Association, chairs the Consumer Credit Committee of the Consumer Advisory Council of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and was formerly on the board of the American Mail Marketing Association. Ms. Kyzer is knowledgeable about privacy issues, sources of data, marketing uses of data, IRSG uses of data and the technology of storage and delivery systems. She is extremely qualified to discuss the challenges of fair information practices and help construct thoughtful and balanced solutions.

Experian understands the power of online information use in America's future. We believe information use benefits consumers and the economy. We are committed to fair information leadership. For these reasons, we feel it would be appropriate and beneficial to the process to have representation in this important committee.

Thank you for your consideration of our nomination.
