OCLC, with annual revenues of approximately $100 million, owns and operates an online service and sells computer hardware, software, systems support agreements and CD-ROM products. OCLC Electronic Publishing is a wholly owned subsidiary engaged in the production and distribution of CD-ROM's.

Negotiated, drafted and reviewed agreements for commercial transactions, product distribution, software distribution, software development, hardware and software support, commercial and capital leases and confidential disclosures. Additional responsibilities included technology exports and export licensing, personnel matters, including employment discrimination claims, employment agreements, severance agreements, immigration, employment policies, employee handbooks and employee benefits. Supervised litigation by outside counsel.

Administrative Law Judge

Presided over adjudicatory administrative hearings on long-term supply and demand forecast reports filed by electric and natural gas utilities operating within the state of Ohio to determine the need for additional generation and transmission facilities within the state of Ohio. Prepared detailed written opinions containing findings of fact and law.

BUREAU OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION

Staff Attorney

Represented the Bureau of Workers' Compensation in adjudicatory hearings before the Ohio Industrial Commission, including both trial and appellate hearings. Prepared written briefs as required, legal opinions, and appeal recommendations.
