Re: Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security Nomination, P004807

December 30, 1999

Dear Sir

Junkbusters Corp. is pleased to respond to the FTC's call for nominations to its Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security. I wish to volunteer to serve on the Committee, and also to nominate Mr Rob Goldman of dash.com.

I believe my experience would be useful to the Commission: I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, have spent the past four years working full-time on privacy, and have advised several companies on privacy issues such as access and security (including dash.com).

I also believe Mr Goldman's technical expertise and practical experience in implementing and maintaining access functionality and security measures for dash.com would be highly relevant to this Committee. I understand that his company is sending a separate nomination.

I affirm that I would be available to attend meetings on the four designated dates.

Respectfully submitted

Jason Catlett
