Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security- Comment, P004807

I feel consumers should have free access to data collected about them, and online businesses should be treated differently that traditional stores. When I walk in to a Target, they don't know what other stores I've been to in the last day. Online companies should not be allowed to look at our "trails" anymore than someone should come up to you in Target and say, "Please tell us everywhere you've gone today." Complete access to all information collected about us is a step in the right direction because it may help cut down on the gathering of information that is technically none of a company's business.
