The New, Improved U.S. Business Advisor

"Serving Businesses on Their Terms — Anytime, Anyplace"

… A Model of 21st Century Governance…

The U.S. Business Advisor is a one-stop electronic link to federal government information and services for business.

First introduced in 1995, the new, improved Advisor offers a wide variety of information and electronic commerce services. If you’re in business, you can get a loan, a trademark, an export license approval, e-mail counseling, classroom training, or procurement information online.

How can it help you? Let us count the ways:

  1. Save Time. The Advisor gives you access to information and services quickly and easily, in a one-stop, organized, easy to use format. In today’s fast-paced marketplace, use the Advisor to get what you need.
  2. Be More Productive. The Advisor lets you spend more time running your business, and less time trying to figure out how to deal with government — from red tape to no tape. You can download forms, get answers to questions, access laws and regulations, and find useful contacts.
  3. Anytime, Anyplace Access. The Advisor provides help whenever and wherever you need it–from your desktop. Get the right information at the right time – from your home or office.

Here are some of the features:

The Advisor is a project by federal agencies in partnership with the business community. It is sponsored by the National Partnership for Reinventing Government and the Small Business Administration.

Programs like the U.S. Business Advisor are helping achieve Vice President Gore's vision of an electronic government. http://www.accessamerica.gov/docs/introduction.html "The kind of government we'll have as we begin the next century," the Vice President said, "will be a government where all Americans have the opportunity to get services electronically and where, aided by technology, the productivity of government operations will be soaring."
