SBA's New Online Answer Desk

America's 25 million small business owners and future entrepreneurs can now e-mail their questions about starting and growing their businesses to the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The new SBA service lets you get answers to business questions by e-mailing your requests through the SBA Online Answer Desk 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Toll-Free Phone Is Available, Too

During regular business hours, you can also call the SBA's toll-free telephone Answer Desk Service (800-827-5722), which handles nearly 3,000 information requests each week.

Besides answering questions, the Answer Desk staff directs callers to a wide range of publications and information resources available through their local SBA office and on the SBA website. The goal of the Answer Desk staff is to respond to all questions within one workday.

Just for Women

Remember, too, that e-mail questions and comments sent to the Online Women's Business Center receive prompt attention from the experts at women's business centers.
